SOMATIC into DANCE

31st May – 4th June

This new project of ICF has the purpose to study and practice different somatic methods an explore how they can influence our dance.
Reaviling different possibilities/qualities of movement and bringing new awareness in our Contact Improvisation practice.
We will have two morning intensive with:
Malcon Manning and Kira Kirsch
In the afternoon
Alba Raventós and Michele Marchesani
will lead, along the four days, a movement class and a body-work class both based on their reference somatic method.

To emphasize the body-mind’s practice,

in the Somatic schedule there will be two different morning practices:

Feldenkrais class with Lior Ophir

and

Tai chi/Qigong class with Sara Tulivu.

In the early morning will be provided a proper space for 30 minuts of self silent meditation with a clear beginning and ending.
