Dear dancing friends,We are happy and excited to announce that right after our CI camp we will host this 5 days workshop with Michele, an amazing dancer and teacher with a lot of experience from different fields and disciplines connected to body/mind. It will happen at the magical venue that is just 5 minutes walking distance from the beach.
~~DESCRIPTION~~
Connection, listening, adaptation as tools to create a dance in which the couple becomes a unique, creative and stimulating being.
Understanding the difference between ‘What to do’ and ‘How to do’.
Fascia and the nervous system have a fundamental role in contact, listening and improvisation processes. The awareness of how these two systems manifest themselves in dance can bring new impulses and stimulating visions to enrich and make CI more interesting.
Creating a strong connection to perceive the couple as a unique, new and creative being, capable of suggesting and guiding individuals in a surprising flow will be one of our goals. The proprioceptive system will be our guide, our inner teacher, the exchange of weight and the contact our dance tools.

~~ABOUT MICHELE~~
He began his work on the body in ’96 through the study of Shiatsu, of which he is currently operator (www.fisioshiatsu.com) and teacher (www.shiatsu-shintai.it),
Subsequently he deepened his technique studying ShinTai, Fascia work, the Chakras and Light Body Yoga.
Satisfying his interest and his curiosity for holistic systems he approached with passion different disciplines connected to the body / mind.
In 2003 he synthesized the “Deep Touch”, a body technique of movement and perception (www.tattointerno.com).
In 2004 he met contact improvisation, which he followed as a student, event organizer and in recent years as a teacher.
Subsequently he deepened his technique studying ShinTai, Fascia work, the Chakras and Light Body Yoga.

~~THE SPACE~~
It’s a new, developing community close to Rovinj. The space is nested on top of the hill and just five minutes walk downhill to the nearest beach.
The dance space is a circular 108 m2 wooden floor protected from the sun with a wooden roof.
There are places for tents in a small Istrian wood and enough parking places.
The space is thriving to be off the grid, and ecological, so the water is collected from the rain (we will provide drinking water), and electricity is made by solar panels. There will be dry compost toilets and showers outside. So make sure, you are comfortable living in nature this way before you register. If you are a nature lover, as we are, you will enjoy its wilderness! If you are more on the comfy side, you could rent a room nearby.
There is no WiFi on the property, but there is a mobile network if you have to use the internet.
We will enjoy delicious, primarily vegan meals prepared by an experienced cook.

~~PROGRAM~~
We start on Sunday 6th with a dinner at 19:00, after the dinner, at 20:30 we will have a Welcoming circle and Jam. Check-in is around noon and after registration you have free time to settle down and/or go to the beach.
From Monday to Thursday, the workshop will be held in the mornings, 4 hours each day. After lunch, we will have free time and in the evening we jam.
On the last day, Friday the 11th, we jam in the morning and finish our journey with lunch.

~~SHUTTLE~~
A shuttle car will be organized from Rovinj to the Camp for those traveling without a car. The shuttle will pick up and drop off people at noon. Please, organize the traveling plans accordingly. The cost of the shuttle is 10 EUR one way, and this you will pay directly to the driver, whoever that might be
